SAMPLER KNITTING FOR THE ROYAL EASTER SHOW 2012
“FABULOUS FIBRES” DISPLAY
We invite all our members and future members to participate in this display.
We would like samplers of knitting to showcase the huge range of knitting that our machines can do. We would like the samplers to be your choice and made on different machines, with different yarns, stitch patterns, and knit techniques. The choice is yours.
We would like as many samples as possible to hang on the stand at the RES Feature display in 2012—Fabulous Fibres.
We would like the samples of knitting to be 30cm by 40cm approximately, and have an open hem at one end (to enable us to thread the samples together with I-cord) as shown on the diagram.
If the knitting will roll, then please start with a small rib or hem.
Please attach some information and a yarn sample to the knitting. We will make a card to go on each sample and would like to know the machine, yarn, tension or stitch size, pattern number, method and/or technique, and your name and address. We will identify you on the card only by your first name and suburb/town.
We will use these samples again in the future at craft fairs and shows to showcase our craft.
