A full weekend of knitting, learning and socialising, join us for an inspiring weekend.

There will be plenty of choices on how you spend your knitting weekend.

You can:

Focus on your latest project.

Or join a knit along of this small cardigan and gain the skills to knit a garment. Detailed pattern provided in advance and a demonstration of each piece, all done on the main bed. More experienced knitters could add details such as pockets, single motif, fair isle.

And/Or join a small workshop, with an experienced knitter.

Topics depend on requests, but possibilities are

• Finishing techniques

• Taking measurements

• Neckbands

• Using the colour changer

• Using a linker

• Using punch cards

• Swatches, planning a garment

• Understanding ease

• How to treat finished item.

ALSO

· Solve your knitting problems at our ‘Problem Corner’

· Buy and Swap table for yarn and knitting gear.

· Socialise before dinner at happy hour.

You are assured of a full knitting weekend with plenty of options, spent with likeminded people.

You’ll need to bring:

· Your project - machine, yarn etc.

· Items for show and tell to inspire others.

· Any knitting you need advice/help for the problem corner

· Any yarn or knitting equipment you want to sell or swap.

· Breakfast food. Breakfast is self-catering. Tea/coffee, milk and sugar will be supplied. The accommodation has a small kitchen with fridge, microwave, toaster, china and cutlery.

· Some nibblies and drinks for happy hour before dinner.

· Toiletries including soap. Bed linen and towels are supplied.

Cost is expected to be $518 pp for single room and $430 for shared room. All rooms have an ensuite.

Fee includes accommodation with meals (lunch and dinner) and hall hire.

The venue has easy parking and is set in beautiful grounds – perfect for an early morning walk.

We have had a good response but need a few more to make the weekend viable.
