We’re kicking off a fun, skill-building KAL this May—knitting a blanket made up of mix-and-match blocks. Patterns, support, and plenty of inspiration provided along the way! Open to all skill levels—come knit with us and be part of a great community. Macknit membership is required to participate.

🧶 The Macknit Knit-A-Long is here! 🧶
After plenty of behind-the-scenes swatching, testing, and planning, we’re excited to officially kick off our Macknit Members Knit-A-Long (KAL)!
Starting in early May, we’ll be knitting a beautiful blanket made up of 24 or 25 blocks—perfect for trying new techniques, building skills, and having fun along the way. Over the first 6 weeks, we’ll release 12 guided block patterns (2 per week), with the remaining blocks open for you to get creative—repeat a favourite, try a variation, or design your own.
✨ Suitable for all levels
✨ Works on non-patterning machines of any gauge
✨ Plenty of support via our Facebook group and monthly meetings
✨ A great way to learn, share, and connect with fellow knitters
Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned pro, there’s something in this KAL for you. We’d love to have you join us on this creative journey!
