The ACT and Region Machine Knitting Guild

Meet twice a month at Epping Creative Centre, Dence Park, 26 Stanley Road, Epping. We meet on the third Thursday at 9.30 for 10.00am, starting with a meeting for announcements, show & tell, and a demonstration. BYO lunch, and then with your own machine or one of ours, spend the afternoon machine knitting, with the help of experienced machine knitters. From 10.00am on the Second Saturday we spend the whole day just knitting, Come and go at your convenience, but BYO lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits provided. New knitters, those that used to knit, and experienced knitters are all welcome to come either or both days.

Knit & Chat Virtual Club
An online club for NSW Machine Knitters members. We meet virtually every second Tuesday monthly from 7.30pm to 9pm. Catch-up with other machine knitters around the country, be inspired and hear from the occasional guest speaker.
Join us in the NSW Macknit Members Group on facebook to chat with other members, and keep up to date with the virtual club and other news.
We are a group of likeminded people interested in, and encourage the craft of Machine Knitting. We have two meetings each month during the period February to November. Brisbane Water Machine Knitters Club
In the Gosford district on the Central Coast, meets on the 1st Saturday of each month. In the morning those wishing to learn to use the computer package DesignaKnit meet at 9.30 am. Then at 1.00pm for problem solving and demonstrations All brands of machine are welcome.

The Illawarra Knitters Wollongong
BYO lunch, demonstrations every month and Show and Tell. Visitors are always warmly welcome. We now met in the Sassafras Room, within Heininger House, which is part of the Ribbonwood Centre, Dapto. The Building is accessed from Heininger Street, Dapto. There is off street parking available, with street parking as well. There is also good public transport both bus and rail. The bus stops right outside the building and it is about a 10 min ‘flat walk’ – give or take – from the station. MEETINGS ARE NOW HELD ON THE FIRST THURSDAY OF EACH MONTH. 10.30am until 2.30pm. As usual visitors to our meeting are always welcome.
